In El Centro watching TV...

Min is.......currently sitting down and watching TV (not really) with Ashton in El Centro!

Min's been pretty busy lately but his long work week is over! Yayy!!  おつかれミン！

So, it's been a little while since I said I'll write on the blog but Min's been busy all this week so it's been hard for me to get together with Min to ask him about his week.

So, here we are and Min's telling me about his week:

So, On Monday, he went to work and afterwards he wanted to go get a warm jacket for Japan and Mayuko asked what he was gonna do after work and Min said he was going to Fashion Valley and Mayuko said she wanted to go since she wanted to get a sweater for Jeff.  They went to Fashion Valley after Min ended work and Min got a jacket (two actually at that time) and Mayuko looked at some sweaters and said she was gonna go to the Carlsbad Outlet after she went home the next day.  Afterwards, Min and Eddy and Mayuko made and ate dinner at Min's house and Eddy and Mayuko went to a party and Min stayed home and his other cousin that he met once when Min was 6 and he was 4, added him on facebook and they chatted a bit before Min fell asleep..

On Tuesday, Min went to work again and after work, he went to dinner with his friend Derek, and then went to return one of the jackets he bought since he figured, he can get another one in Japan that's better designed and warm and he gets to do it with his sweetie!  He then went with Eddy and Tony to Yuta's birthday party.  They got a bottle of Grey Goose as a present and a gallon jug of wine for the party.  Min got so drunk and he was a little sick and hungover the next morning.

On Wednesday,  Min went to work and then after he got carne asada fries with Eddy and he asked if Min wanted to go karaoke with him.  So Min, Tony, Yuki, Eddy, and Fusayo (I don't know if Angie knows her but she was in JSA and Eddy knows her) went to karaoke and Min said he sang a lot!

On Thursday, Min wanted to rest but he also wanted to get shoes and while he was at work, Mayuko was asking him about which sweater to buy and he told her which one and he said he was going to Carlsbad Outlet to buy shoes (which is the closest place where they have a Puma store) and Mayu said she wanted to go so he said he'll pick her up and they went to the Carlsbad Outlet, where Min got his shoes (Puma had a 50% store wide sale! : D) really cheap! Yayy!!  and Mayuko got the sweater for Jeff.  She looked happy envisioning Jeff wearing the sweater and discussing her winter plans with Jeff!  After that Min got home at 6 (there was a lot of traffic on the I-5) and He got home and took a shower to warm himself up and was on the computer for a little bit (oh oh! he was on facebook and was chatting with Chris!) until he fell asleep.  He finally got lots of sleep and felt really refreshed when he woke up Friday morning.

On Friday, Min worked and then said goodbye to everyone at work and drove down to El Centro.  There was a lot of rain and strong winds but Min got there safely and he went to eat dinner at In n Out with his friends and then he is now watching TV with Ashton and just randoming talking to him about random stuff.  Currently... they are talking about neutron stars.

Min says tomorrow he has to go to the bank so he can unlock his cards for use in Japan and on Sunday, he's gonna drive back up and do laundry and clean his whole apartment and pay his rent and utilities and then he's off to the airport first thing Monday morning!

Yayy!!  Okay, Min says he's getting tired now and frankly after that long car ride with him, I'm tired too.

Hii Everyone!!

Min slept a lot today and when he woke up, it was too late to say good night to his sweet sweet Angela, so Min was a little unhappy.  He says he's gonna get some food in his stomach and study until his friend comes to pick up something from him and then he's gonna go do a little grocery shopping at the korean market.  Min says he wants to get snacks and such for finals studying and he's out of tonkatsu sauce and not to mention, rice.  Min's actually cooking the last bit of his rice right now to make porridge.  He says his stomach's not feeling too well recently, and he wants to eat porridge and hope that he feels better.  I'm gonna snack on the last bit of Min's potato chips while he's making lunch!

Angela Time

Hi everyone~~

It's your favorite teddy bear Cotton!!! : D

So, for some reason, it was like Min was on Angela Time today and he slept until...well he just woke up now.

What is Angela Time?

Min said this silly thing because since Angela is in Japan, he's synced himself to her time and therefore, sleeping when it's night over there and waking up when it's morning over there.  Hahahaha that silly Min.

Yesterday...yesterday... Min got up, studied a little bit, and went to class and went to work and after that Tony called him and asked if he wanted to grab dinner so Min said sure and they went to eat In n Out Burger after Min finished work.

After that they went back to Min's place (they were still talking) and had a beer and Tony left soon after that.  Min noticed that his roommates had once again, neglected to do dishes and he needed to do laundry (good thing you did it last night instead of this morning Min!  You slept through this morning hehe).  So, he went and put his clothes in the wash and came back and washed the pile of dishes that was in his kitchen sink.

Afterwards, he went to put his clothes in the dryer and took a shower and watched a little bit of House (new episode on Monday) and then brought his laundry back and folded them neatly or hung them in the closet.  After that, Min finished watching House and decided it was time to sleep.  Min texted Angie asking for a kiss~ (awwwwww he says he misses her) and then checked his mail in his bed and went to sleep.

He says that he must have been extra tired because he went to bed a little after 1am last night and he woke up once at 8am but then he fell asleep again and got up at 2pm.  Luckily, he says, that work doesn't start until 4pm today so he has plenty of time to get ready and go to work.  He says he's gonna be studying a lot at work for his final exam tomorrow morning.

Kindle~~

Hi Everyone!!

It's cute and cuddly........................(wait for it).............................Cotton! : D : D

So, Min got himself a Kindle! : D

He was really wondering whether it would be worth it to buy one or not but he saw a deal on it so he ended up buying it.

So far, Min's pretty happy about his purchase!  He's already loaded all his computer programming related ebooks on it and he's been reading on his spare time.  He's also finished one of the 3 books that he's suppose to read for his history class!  He says he has a couple of chapters left each on the other two books and his final exam is this Friday so... he's gotta finish reading.  Don't worry, I'll make sure he finishes and studies.  : )

Well, I'm gonna ask Min to make me some tea and I'm gonna read Sherlock Holmes on the Kindle while Min studies for his final exam.  Hehe~

Hi everyoneeeeee its Cotton!

I couldn't think of a title :P hehehehe

There's not much to say actually....Angela woke up unbelievably late and got school unbelievably late......stayed in the lab for the entire time she was there watching one of her senpai do an experiment and making some chemicals to grow her plants in.....

so thats about all! :D 

Angela also got Autumn limited sweets for her mother and brother. Like chestnut flavored stuff. But all the stores are already Christmas and New Year themed so she couldn't find much.....she still looked funny buying a lot of sweets though lol and then she forgot that she needed to change trains when going home so she had to go back and wait for the right train and such and that took a bit of time too

Walking back, Angela realized there's a lot of food places are open til pretty late at night. There's a cafe and curry place that's open til 1AM, a ramen place that's open til 5AM, and a Mc Donald's and a Japanese restaurant thats open 24 hours. Oh and there are three Family Marts that are also open 24 hours. And this is just on her way home, so there's probably a lot more on the other streets that she usually doesn't take. This would be a prettyyyy fun place to live while you're young! (without crazy neighbors :P)

Okay well, that's about all that happened to her today. Angela is going to sleep soon so she could wake up earlier and go to school earlier tomorrow :D

Back to San Diego~

Hi Everyone!!

I am back with Min to San Diego!! We spent the thanksgiving break pretty busily and it was a fun filled full vacation!  I'm glad to have gone to El Centro and go camping!!  Desert camping! : D

So, Min re-read the letter that Angela wrote for him and instead of writing her a comment like he usually does, he ended up writing his own reply letter that silly Min.

Awwww it's okay darling :) We already knew this was to happen and we're gonna see each other soon so yayyyyy~ And yes, physically together makes perfect sense darling :)

I know!! Korea was crazy and fun and I loved spending time there with you!! Hahaha, off the top of my head I can think of... Cool, Radical, Awesome(maybe Adventurous), Zesty, You and me! hehehehe maybe I'll come up with something more clever later hahaha :P

Oh silly~ I know you're busy everyday darling :) and I know you like getting meaningful gifts for me and you know that I know that it's worth the wait! (a little confusing to read but it makes sense right? hehe) and I know it's been raining a lott silly so don't feel bad!! I love you and I'll wait for them silly because every single one of them no matter what it is, is wonderful! Just like you! :D

Awwwwww I'm so happy you like my chocolate chip cookies!! I remember when you told me you ate like a lot of them when I baked them for you to take back to your room, I was sooooooooooooo happy!! I think I knew what you felt like when I was really happy for receiving my birthday present from you! It was such a wonderful feeling that something I did for you was something you like sooooo much!! I shall bake more of my mellow, easy-going (I like those words that you chose to describe me and my cookies!! ahhh I love youuu!!) so you can have some!! Maybe I'll bake them like the night before I leave, maybe the morning before I leave (since my flight is early in the morning... and I can sleep on the plane hehe) and just wrap them in a plate with saran wrap and put them in a ziploc bag, no maybe TWO ziploc bags!! Which would better insulate the cookies AND my silliness that's contained inside!! hehe) I love your analysis on my cookies dear :) My cute little researcher you~ hehe

We should go on an adventure in the frogggiiieeeee!! Hehe I know you like going on drives sweetie~ You like going on drives with me when I hold you hand and kiss you with each cooper and sometimes just because and singing out loud and just looking at you and smiling and taking you to awesome places like our special spot! or that desert exit in the middle of the night were we saw all those stars or that random exit after Disneyland where we saw those squirrels and many more to come!! and sometimes being silly and making out while waiting for the lights to turn green! hehehe

Hahaha I was really really really worried that I might look too charai but I've decided the ultimate test! I'm gonna go visit my parents once more before I leave for Japan and I'll get an honest opinion out of my parents! If they think it's okay, I think I'll be fine, but if they think it's charai (especially my grandmother) I will dye it before I go to Japan or after I get there! (if that happens, should I dye it back black or just get a really dark brown color?)

If nott- I guess I'll be the silly KPop star~ maybe I'm actually starring in my own drama right now! :O and maybe your aunt and mother will watch it!! hahahahaha

Awwwww I'm so glad the flowers got there in good time!! And so many pictures from you!! I know you like them hehe :) And another teddy bearrr!!! What shall we name it darling? :D

The weather's getting colder so I'm staying warm inside my room with my computer and playstation and heater working hard to keep me warm hehehe!


I guess I'll try to read a bit for my class and maybe wait for you to wake up and skype a little maybe-- and then probably go to sleep early today.

Min also asked me to talk a little bit about what we did while we were down in El Centro... so here it is:


Min got down to El Centro and when he called Ashton, he found out they were still at the bar celebrating a friend's birthday.  Min headed there and stayed there for a long time (his friend didn't want to get drunk too fast and dragged the night out, which made Min and his friends unhappy but left them no choice but to stay even though they were tired)  He finally got out of the bar and went home and got ready to sleep and talked to Ashton and messaged with Angela and went to bed.

The next day was Thanksgiving!  and Min and Ashton slept in a little and got up and did early preparations for the camping trip they were going on the next day and then took a shower and got ready to go to Ashton's grandparent's house.  Thanksgiving dinner is actually a Thanksgiving lunch there and Min and Ashton and another one of their friend, went to Thanksgiving.  He greeted everyone in the family and they mingled while the food was put on the table.  After Thanksgiving, the three of them went out to the backyard to look for a grill and some bricks that they were going to take to the camping trip.  Then they had a birthday celebration (they roped in a bunch of family members and had a big celebration while everyone was there)  then they went out and bought a tent and a sleeping bag since one of the tents that they were suppose to have (one of their friends who said had a tent said he couldn't find it) wasn't found and one of the friends needed a sleeping bag.  As soon as they bought it, and went on a scouting trip to the place they were going to go the next day and  scouted a nice camping location and headed back.  They got home and called their friends to update them and found out his friend found the tent which meant they no longer needed it and his other friend managed to borrow a sleeping bag from another friend so the sleeping bag was also for naught.  Unfortunately, Ashton had managed to lose the receipt (which Min thought was totally Ashton's fault but he kept saying they should be able to return it without it since they had only bought it the day before using his debit card).  Afterwards, Min and Ashton played some video games until they were tired and then went to sleep.  The next day they woke up early and put their sleeping bags and supplies into the big truck (Ashton's dad's truck) and went in Ashton's truck to get the grill and brick and to cut up some wood at Ashton's grandparent's house.  They got a chainsaw and cut the wood into nice pieces to cook on and went back and put them into the big truck.  They tried to return the tent and sleeping bags but had a bit of trouble as expected.  They ended up waiting on a call from the store and they then went to a meat market and bought carne asada and tortillas and guacamole and salsa for the tacos they were going to cook and eat there and picked up their two friends Eddie and Ernie who had the tents and picked up their other two friends and off they went to camping.

Coincidently, the exit they got off on was the same exit that Min and Angie got off on that one night and stopped to see the stars!  They got to the camping site and found that there was someone else there just hanging out.  The previous day they had not gone in too far because there was a narrow passage way that seemed to narrow for their truck to get through but Min insisted that he can do it and so the rest of his friends got out and headed in by foot and Min carefully drove the truck through (I was in the truck with Min of course) which meant they were free to drive more inside to find a better spot.  Min drove the truck inside and they managed to find a good spot to camp.  They unloaded and Min started getting the ground where they were going to setup tents cleared of rocks and other debris using a rake they brought.  Ashton started digging a fire pit they were going to use to cook with the shovel they brought and some people setup the chairs and unloaded wood from the truck.  They switched off and some people started putting up the tents and Min and Ashton got the fire started.  Soon they were ready to cook and they set the grill up and started cooking the meat!!  They made tacos for dinner and had some leftover meat so they decided they were going to eat it again the next day morning.  They drank beer and Min had brought some of the rice wine that Ashton likes so much! (And so does Angela's aunt! I think... Min said they drank it once at a korean restaurant that they took Min and Angela to as a welcome to Japan dinner! : D btw Min says he was so thankful about summer and that he's very grateful that they welcomed him so welcomingly) Min got buzzed enough to fall asleep and went to bed early and has no idea what everyone else did but he woke up once at 2am and fell back asleep and in the end he slept the most out of all his friends who were complaining about how uncomfortable it is to sleep on the ground.  They got up and cooked more tacos and ate it and cleaned up the camping site they used and went on a hike up the rocky mountains for a little bit but hit a dead end in a canyon so they went back and headed back home.  They got back and showered and was feeling tired but they had a good time.  They rested a little watching TV and then Min and Ashton drove to Yuma!

Why Yuma?  Yuma is a border city in Arizona not too far from El Centro and Min went there because he wanted to buy Arizona Starbucks Mugs!!! One for mother and one for auntie. : )  They ate at a In n Out and came back and then watched a random movie on TV while talking and Ashton's mom (who's also Min's "mom") suggested that they plan a road trip for the family!  Ashton wasn't too happy about the idea but Min and Aaron (Ashton's younger brother) was down for it.  So, Min may go on a road trip in a motorhome (which they will rent) with his other family in the summer! : D  Ashton's mom also asked Min about his trip to Japan and said that if he needs money that she'll give him some for which Min was very grateful.

Min says he feels so loved by so many people.  His parents who are always there for him and his girlfriend who loves him so dearly and her family who made Min feel so welcome! and now his best friend's mom who's words and caring thoughts made Min happy!  Oh!  So they're converting the downstairs office into a room for Min! A place where he can stay anytime he wants and she ordered him a bed! (I think it's an air mattress) but it's a queen size she says! : D  Min's so happy!!

Now Min's hungry and he's wondering if he should make pasta or katsu curry.... hmm... I kinda want the katsu curry but that might take a long time huh... maybe I'll ask Min to make the pasta!

Oh oh! he also said that he volunteered to pick up Yutaka from the airport tomorrow!  He says he's so full of his helpful energy that he wants to do something nice for someone in his surrounding now! : D

Well, I'm gonna go nag Min to make me pasta~ hehe

Ah I think your silliness is increasing by the week! By the day! By the hour....? :P 

Wow six months already? It definitely does not feel like six months! I don't know....it kinda feels like it's passing by fast now. Or maybe I just live in a weird world where the time is all deformed and I just feel it pass by differently from other people. Yea I'm weird special like that. Right? :)

Ah it just makes me a bit sad that out of the sixth months that we've been together, we've physically been together (does that make sense? sounds weird? I'm losing my English!!) for only about maybe three months total. Not even maybe? We did do very crazy things for a couple that's only been going out for less than a year though hehehe :P Like Korea! That. Was. C.R.A.Z.Y. (the person with the most clever idea for what that acronym stands for will get a very special surprise from me! :D) 

Ah and no matter what you say....I still feel bad for falling way behind our monthly gift exchange! :( I'm sorry.....I don't want to be making excuses but I kinda really am busy....I'm pretty much at the lab all day during the weekdays and the weekends have been raining so much! Whyyyy so much rainnnnnn and I don't want to just send you anything so I've been looking for the right one........ :( ahhhhh I'm sorryyyyyyyy :( 

It's probably not a good thing to be saying sorry so much in a celebrating letter so I shall stop......

I miss your chocolate chip cookies! ahhhh the やさしい sweetness! Your cookies aren't like.....American Mrs. Field's sweet sweet cookies you know? (I like those too and I've made them since I have the recipe but they use SO MUCH sugar and butter it basically gives you a heart attack just by baking them. So maybe its a once a year thing.) Yours are.......kind. Like....mellow. Easy-going. They're kinda just like you! :P

Since today was thanksgiving, I was eating lunch with my best friend's family and I realized how thankful I am that I met you!  


It is, almost midnight (I realized that I haven't made much progress in writing this because I was doing it discretely while talking to Ashton, who has no idea that I'm writing this right now while he's playing video games.) and I am sleeppyyy.  I hope, we can skype soon darling!!  Maybe I'll be able to skype with you for a little bit tomorrow (Your Saturday)?  I just checked the weather and it says it'll be clear this weekend, which means you won't have to worry about the rain!! : D  Yayyyy 


Okay, I have a rather busy morning tomorrow getting ready for the camping trip so, I will finish off here and go to sleep.


I know in dreamland, I'll be having dreams about you!  : ) (It would be really cool if I can remember it tomorrow so I can tell you about it hehehe)

Hello Everyone~

Min's working on some programming project and while he's making lunch, I thought I'd quickly get on and tell everyone that in 28 days Min will be on an airplane to Japan!! : D

Min's very excited about this and he started counting down the days until he gets on the airplane to go to Japan since the 30 day mark!

Hi Everyone!

It's cute and cuddly and 最近 sleepy Cotton!

I don't know why but lately it seems like all I've been doing is sleeping.

Time to rummage through Min's backpack and eat an Altoid!

Oh no!  Min's almost running out of them!  Lucky for me, he's got plenty more in his room.  Hehe

I know I haven't been writing in here lately but I've been sleeping all the time and Min's been really busy so I haven't done much writing.

I did hear Min writing his two new songs "November" and "One May Morning".  I like One May Morning.  It's a silly song!  Just how I like it!

Min says his work on Saturday wasn't as long as he was initially assigned because 2 of the classes got canceled.  This was good for Min since he was pretty tired from driving to LA and back on Thursday and Friday.  He got to talk to his sweet sweet Angie the WHOLE TIME he was at work!  They're so silly!

Min says he's been looking into presents for his Angie for Christmas already and he showed me some of the presents he had in mind and I gave him my thoughts on them.

Besides that, Min said that on Friday night / Saturday daytime for Angie his package for Angie arrived there (well, it actually got there on Wednesday or something but she couldn't get it until Saturday) and she waited until Min got home to open it!  She opened it and found lots of random silly things that Min put in for Angie including granola bars and pictures and a letter and and Min's new Single Album!!

He also put in a box of Altoids for Angie!  It's their silly Altoids that they took a picture and decided was a commercial photo for it!  Hehe~

Oh you guys you silly guys~ hehehe

You know, I was thinking, since this is my diary, I should have more pictures of myself!  Maybe I'll convince Min to take me out and take more pictures.

Going Home Thursday

Weather's getting a bit chilly and the nights coming quicker!

Soon Min is going to leave work and drive up to LA to visit his family!

Min says he's gonna have a busy busy weekend this weekend but nevertheless he's going to visit family.  : )

Today,  Min went to a birthday luncheon for his coworkers and they went to this brewery and ate.

Min said he had a glass of beer and had this burger that was tasty.  I wish I could have some too but I was at home sleeping : P

After lunch Min came home and got his bag ready to go home and he woke me up and we went to work early.

He's going to leave soon so... I guess this is it for now.

Meeting Tuesday

Min just took a quiz for his history class in his discussion class today at 8AM and he is just sitting in PC waiting for his class at 10AM to start so he can walk over to Warren Lecture Hall.  Hehe he says that when he first talked to Angie, she didn't know that Price Center on campus was abbreviated to PC and she was really confused at first since PC also means Personal Computer.

Ahh~  It's getting a bit chilly even here in San Diego and Min is wearing a long sleeve collared shirt.  Lucky for me I have my warm fur so I don't get cold easily.  : D

I'm looking out from Min's backpack and there's not that many people in PC right now.  Probably because it's early morning and no one wants to come to school this early.  Right Min?  Hehe.

Oh oh!  Starting yesterday, Daylight Savings Time ended which means from now on, Min has to add 5 hours to his time and then flip the AM/PM .  Min says it's 12 more days until he starts the one month countdown for Japan for winter!  He's pretty excited for Japan already even though it's more than 40 days away.  Even though Thanksgiving hasn't passed yet.

Oh oh Min told me that he'll take me down to El Centro for thanksgiving when he goes down.
You see, since Min's parents don't do anything special for thanksgiving, Min always went to his best friend Ashton's house for their thanksgiving.  This year will be his 5th year going!  He says he'll take some pictures to show his Angie.  Maybe I'll use them for blog post photos later.  Hehe

Min says that hopefully his package for his sweet sweet Angela should get there sometime this week.  He hopes so.

Locked out

Hello Everyone,

It's cute and cuddly Cotton again!

I'm with Min at his work and Min has managed to lock himself out of his office again!  He should really stop doing that.

He left his books that he needs to review for his midterm tomorrow inside so he can't even study...

Oh Min told me he finally shipped his sweet Angela's package! 

He says it'll take 6 to 10 business days to get there.  Min hopes it's 6 days.  : )

Holiday for Angie~

I'm at school with Min right now and he says he needs to use his laptop to look at this last problem for homework and to help his other friend in a math class he took before.  He says it's a really hard math class and that he needs to use his laptop to look up information.  So I guess, I have to get off for now...  I think Min says I can write another one at work so... I'll do that?

Min went to class early in the morning today and then he came back and went to grocery shopping and then cleaned up his room! : D  He says he didn't get to clean all of the room but he got half of it done.  He also got reading done and says he'll finish up his homework tomorrow when he wakes up and cleans the other half of his room.  He says maybe he'll get quarters and wash his blanket and sheets and pillow covers too!

Oh, he says his Angela messaged him to make sure he goes to bed.  Min says he's really happy when he gets a message from his sweetie~

Halloween and Shunpei's Birthday

Hi Everyone!

It's your cute and cuddly Cotton!

Yesterday, Min had a pretty full day because.... this was Min's schedule:

He woke up early in the morning and got to talk to his sweetie a little bit and then had to go to work.

At work after setting up the labs, he talked to his sweetie again!  After she went to bed, Min worked on his work orders and then took a short nap.  He then went to lunch with his friend Teddy and came back and finished work.  After work he headed home and finished leftovers from lunch and he spent a little time trying to see what's going on with Shunpei's birthday tonight.  Yuta discussed various things with him but in the end they got nothing done.  Min then took a nap.  And woke up to find that it was 6pm and he had a text from Yuta.  Min texted him back but he didn't get a reply.  He tried texting Shunpei's roommate and tried calling him but that didn't yield in any result either.  He then made dinner with Eddy and after eating dinner he finally got a hold of Shunpei's roommate.  He headed over to their house by 9pm and the two of them went to Ralph's to go get alcohol and cake.  They came back home to find that they didn't have any candles and they forgot a card.  By this time, Min and Shunpei's roommate were both pretty stressed because they said they would help but instead Yuta basically just handed them over the job of planning since he was with Shunpei since they were at the haunted hotel event.

At this point, Min was so stressed out that he needed to hear his sweetie's voice so he'd feel okay again.  He was so happy to hear his sweetie's voice that all his stress disappeared!  : D  Min told me that he's so happy that he has a good girlfriend who can make him feel better at a time like this.  He says lately he's been a little stressed out but for some reason, the phone call made it all better.  That sounds silly doesn't it?  A simple phone call?  Min says he doesn't know why but talking to her made him feel better.  Maybe it's because they're in love~ hehe

Everyone started trickling into the apartment one by one and Yuta and Marina bought as much time as they could before Shunpei got home.  Min coordinated everything so he had everyone hiding and waiting while he kept checking the door.  They finally got there and he signaled everyone and they all hid and they waited until Shunpei came in and turned on the lights and they burst out yelling "Surprise!  Happy Birthday!"  and popped the poppers that Yutaka brought.  Shunpei was really happy and everyone had a good time.

Min said the only thing that bugs him a little is, he paid for the alcohol with his own money and not everyone paid him for it (since there was a bunch of people that came in late) so he's short $24 but he says since it was Shunpei's birthday, it's okay.  Well, it happens right Min?

Silly Min Sleeping Early and Happy Birthday Min's Grandmother!

So...

Min last night fell asleep SUPER early and he turned off his computer so I couldn't get in to write a blog post.

Min said he was sleepy and he was lying down for a little bit and before I knew it, he was sleeping!

Silly Min.  I asked him what he did on Friday and he told me that he went to class in the morning and then him and another officer from JSA, Don, went to downtown to get the haunted hotel tickets for JSA.

Min says he's not going to haunted hotel but no one else could go and get the tickets so he volunteered to go.
He said after that him and Don went to go eat lunch at Tajima and then he went back to school and then he went to language table.

At language table, today, Min was the leader for the beginners table and he said after 2 hours of leading the table, he was tired and everyone else said they were going to go eat but Min said he wanted to go home and so he was heading out of Cafe V when his friend called him and asked if he wanted to grab carne asada fries with him.

Min said sure and he went to go pick up his friend Albert, who was his friend Marcus's old roommate, and they went to go get fries for old times sake.  He caught up with Albert while he ate the whole box of fries!  : O

And then he dropped off Albert and came home and showered and he remembered it was his grandmother's birthday!  She is 86 as of today! : O  Happy Birthday Min's Grandmother!  After talking to his grandmother he talked to his dad for a little bit and said he was sleepy so he hung up.  He was just on the internet looking at the news when he said he was sleepy and put his head down.

Well, you know the rest of the story.  That silly Min.  At least he gots lots and lots of sleep!

GBM2

Hi everyone!!

Today, I went with Min to his JSA GBM 2.

What is JSA?  It stands for Japanese Student Association.  Min is an officer in JSA and he is the webmaster!
Today he announced his website to all the members and showed them the blog posts and such and other interesting things so that people can visit the website and enjoy it : )

The theme today was halloween and some people dressed up for it too!

It's funny because the other day Min was talking to his friend Suzy and she was telling him how she doesn't want to go out and is feeling anti-social and Min said that most of his good friends are all anti-social including his best friend Ashton, who has about 5 friends in total.  And Min was wondering if he was a bit like that as well.  His Angela said that Min is definitely not anti-social, she said he was "far from it"  Min was happy to hear that which made him feel happy and popular.  Anyway, Suzy said that it's okay for Min to be anti-social because he can just stay where he is and people will come to him.  And Min asked her what she meant and she said "like at JSA GBM, you don't go around saying hi to people, people come to you to say hi"
Min hadn't thought about such things and he was asking me "Cotton have you noticed that before?"  I just shook my head and told him that I'm usually too preoccupied looking to see if there are other cute teddy bears that come to the GBM.  Well, today, Min noticed that people really did come to him to say hi!
I guess Min's a popular guy huh?  A lot of people also commented on Min's hair.  A lot of people said that he looks different today and that it's his hair that looks different.  I'll put a picture of Min's hair today to show you guys and you can let me know what you think.

Min went to Tapex afterwards and socialized with people.  He said he didn't feel like eating Tapex today and that what he really wanted was some McDonald's.  Silly Min.  On the car ride to McDonald's, Min told me that he used to eat McDonald's a lot when he was little and that every now and then, even though he knows it's not good to eat fast food and much less McDonald's, he will go eat there.  That silly Min.  While he was at McDonald's his friend Suzy messaged him to say her preliminary sketches for his project was done and that he should take a look at them.  Min went to Suzy's place to look at it and talk to her about what exactly it is he wanted and she said she'll draw it for him.  Min didn't tell me too much detail and I wasn't really listening either, Suzy has a pet cat and I like playing with it.  Hehe.  Min left after that and he headed home and Yusuke wanted to play Starcraft and since Min doesn't get to play with Yusuke much (or play in general) he thought he'd give himself a break and play a little bit.  Now he's lying down in bed and he's telling me I should turn off the computer and go to sleep.  *yawn I think I'll take his advice...

Fried Rice

Hi everyone!

Guess what I had for dinner today?

I had Min's fried rice!!

Silly Min was hungry when he got home and he wanted something he can eat quickly so he made fried rice.  He says tomorrow he needs to do homework so he's gonna go to sleep early tonight.

He says he's gonna wake up early and try to finish everything because he has GBM tomorrow for JSA.

Hehe I'm very very happy to say that, this isn't the end of that list and that as more time passes we'll be even more in love with each other and doing lots of other fun and romantic and couple-y things!!


Being with you really makes me happy and I'm so thankful everyday that you're my lovely sweetie~


We all have bad days and I know sometimes I'm not at my best but you make even that part of me feel loved and I feel bathed in your love for me darling : )

Lately, I've been sleeping a lot recently...and yet I'm still sleepy~

Maybe it's my hibernation thingy (something Min told me that bears do in the winter time).

Right now I am.........poking Min!  Silly Min, didn't get much studying done because he had to do some stuff for JSA since he'll never get around to doing it once the week starts... Min says he's gonna go shower and read a little bit more before going to sleep.  He says he needs to wake up early tomorrow so he can make his 8AM discussion class.

I hope he makes it!

Min had a long day today and he says he wants to get plenty of rest.  So he's sleeping early tonight!

Midterms and Matching Clothes

Hi Everyone!!

This morning Min had trouble keeping his eyes open.

I kept poking him but he kept falling asleep.

Silly Min, he should go to sleep earlier tonight because.... he has work tomorrow morning!

One of his co-workers is taking time off and they need him to cover the morning shift tomorrow which means Min's working a full 8 hours tomorrow (or more maybe : O).  He needs to get to work by 7:30 so hopefully he won't be late!  Maybe his sweet sweet darling Angela will make sure he wakes up!

Today Min had a midterm and he was studying for it last night and this morning but until he was fully awake and before his lovely Angie went to bed, he was skyping with her and looking at matching clothes and outfits with her!

He needs to get warmer clothes for Japan in the winter time since it's been years since Min's been in weathers that needed winter clothing, he no longer has any.

Maybe the lovey dovey couple will go shopping together!  Of course, they'll be all lovey dovey and holding hands and being all niyaniya and sometimes chuchu~

Min says that one of his buttons came off of his pajama and that he needs to sew it back on tonight when he gets home.

I can hear Min's stomach growling telling him that it's hungry.

Hehe, I just poked Min's stomach and he gave me the -_- face.  tahahahahaha silly Min.  Oh that's my new laugh that Angela taught me.  tehehehehehe

Ticket to Japan for Winter!

Hi Everyone!!

It's your cute and cuddly Cotton!!

Today, Min bought his airplane ticket for Japan for the Winter!!!

Min's pretty excited that he can see his sweetie again in the winter and for the first time since they started going out, they'll actually be able to spend time together on their monthly anniversary date!!  Min's really excited about that.  He keeps telling me about it.  (So far, he's said it to me 5 times) (Oh wait, he just said it again so 6 times!)

That silly guy, that Min guy.

He also says he needs to get winter clothes for Japan.  He wants to buy some while he's there since he'll probably never wear it once he's back in sunny (and relatively warm) California.  Plus he says a lot of jackets and coats cost a lot here (you know Min, it'll cost a lot there too) and he says if he's gonna pay that much he might as well get nice ones from Japan.  Maybe his sweet sweet Angela can help him pick out clothes too!  (Maybe they'll get me a jacket too!)

Min says he needs to get back to studying for his midterm so, I guess this is it for now everyone!

Min's Friday

Hi Everyone~

It's your favorite cute and cuddly Cotton!

Min just got home today from a long-ish day.  I'll tell you all about it!

He woke up when his alarm rang @ 6am and was in his bed for a little bit but he finally woke up @ 7am.  He got up and checked his mail and was talking to his lovely Angela~

At around 9:15AM his roommate Eddy said he was late for his lab class and Min offered to give him a lift to school.  So Min took a break from talking to his sweetie and went to give Eddy a ride.  Afterwards he came back and cooked himself breakfast (by this time Angela had fallen asleep) and then he was looking into this and that about his car (he had to do maintenance work)  and ordered a part and his books came in the mail (he needs to read them for one of his classes) so he read a little bit until his roommate came back and they ate lunch.  Afterwards, Min went to school for his class and then after class he rushed off to work and, of course, it was dead quiet and no one was there so Min was going to Skype with his darling but she was sleeping.  Min read his book for a little bit and played a video game with his friend online and then went back home and waited for Brian to call him to say that he was home.  Meanwhile, his roommate Eddy was going to a frat party and asked him to drop him off and so Min did and went to pick up Brian and they went to go eat chipotle.  His Angie finally woke up! but he was out so he couldn't skype with her.  He dropped off Brian and was going home when his other friend called him to ask him for help on a computer that he was building.  Min helped him and then was about to leave for home when another friend (this is a friend of his from high school) asked him to come over and wanted to ask him advice about his girlfriend (the two of them had been fighting)  so Min went over there and then finally he got home and it was 11PM.  He took a shower and changed and now he's drinking green tea and waiting for his sweetie to finish hanging up clothes.  He's afraid he's gonna fall asleep by the time she gets ready.

Stay up Min!

...well you do have work tomorrow... maybe you can sleep?

Wow what a day right?  Min must be tired...

I'll make sure Min gets plenty of rest : )

Happy Four Months Min and Angela!!

Hi everyone!

I need to take a break in the "Adventures of Min and Angela in Asia ~ Summer 2011 ~ " series for a little becaaaaaaaause today is their fourth month anniversary!!!

Happy four months!!!!


Wowwwww, a third of a year? That actually sounds pretty long and now I'm starting to feel like time is passing by really fast! Like it doesn't feel like it's been that long since we got together already. I don't know why but events like our magical night, Strawberry picking, Sea world, day trip to El Centro, and Disneyland kinda seem like a while ago now. It really does seem like a while since we were in your old apartment. It was so nice (I want to live in that apartment :P) Feels like a while from those nights when we studied in PC til really late then walked back to my apartment and I would grab onto your arm cuz it was freezing. I miss my apartment room too! (I don't think my Osaka room will be as roomy.)


I guess, I realized that a lot happened after them. Like I went on that Europe trip (which seemed SO long. Too long to be away from my sweetie) and then that road trip down to San Diego! (Well, Disneyland happened at the end of this but.....yea)


Then I came to Japan, went through the summer program, learned and did that AKB dance thing. I didn't think I would ever, EVER do such a thing in my life. 


Then I got to go on the Korea trip with you that my cute Cotton is going over on this blog right now. I didn't think I would be allowed to do that either, a trip with my boyfriend? ありえないね、本当に。and I had a lot of fun! I got to spend so much time with just my sweetie, it was really......something different and special. Even though not everything went as we had planned, I loved every minute of it. Just being with you was enough for me :)


Then you came back to Japan with me, and we got to go around Tokyo and Yokohama a little. Again, we didn't get to go everywhere we wanted or do everything we wanted to do, but I had a lot of fun.


I think you really are the ingredient in my life that makes everything better :)  


I hope there would be lots and lots of fun and special moments in the future with you, and I am really looking forward to them!

Day 3

Hi everyoneeee~

Its Cotton! :D

I actually just posted the Day 2 one but....that's because I started writing it last night but couldn't finish so.....I decided to write another one today! :D weeeeeee~

So Day 3!

On Day 3, they went to Daegu. They went to the subway station and ate breakfast at Dunkin' Donuts. Angie said Min really liked his super duper sweet guava drink. Right Min? :) 

They took the subway to the bus terminal, and they got on the bus that left at around 12:30. The bus ride was around 5 hours long I think. It sounds long, but Angie said it didn't feel that long. They listened to music and chatted the whole time. She didn't even sleep! Except for the last half an hour or so.... :P 

They arrived at the bus terminal in Daegu, then realized that they didn't exactly know how to get to the motel they looked up online. They walked around for a while, but decided to just stay at one of the many motels they saw. The whole place was a little.....怪しい...but the room itself was big and clean so, yay? 

They ended up staying in the room and watching House and falling asleep til morning 

Not as long a day for them I guess? Angie still enjoyed it though! :D

Day 2

Hello everyone!!

It's Cotton :)

It was pretty cold today, so cold that Angela had to wear a cardigan when she went out. Does that mean it's finally fall? I guess Angela needs to pull out her long sleeves~ 

Anywaysss

Today I will talk about Min and Angela's second day in Korea!

mmmm so their second day, theyyyy.....I forgot when they woke up. I don't think it was too early though? I think they left the guesthouse at around maybe 11am. To go to Gyeongbokgung. They took the train there! Angie completely followed Min so she has no idea what was going on while she was there. But thats okay, right?

They got there and bought the ticket and went inside the palace walls. They got to see the guards change right after they went in. They played traditional instruments and they wore traditional garments and it was pretty interesting to watch. Then they went inside and walked around the palace. It was a lot bigger than Angela expected! And she thought it was super duper colorful, unlike the palaces and temples in Japan. And so many animal statues and parts! They had animals at the bottom of stairs and on top of the roofs and such. Angela enjoyed it very much. :)


Then they went to the museum for the palace. It had three floors and they had a lot of stuff, it was pretty interesting for Angela. She thinks Min got bored and too hungry in the middle though :P Silly guy. They did go through all of it though. Angela's favorite part is probably the instruments. Very big, colorful, and had animal motifs on them! Silly Angela. 


Then they took the subway to a big mall, Coex. They didn't buy anything there but they ate lunch (kimchi fried rice with cheese mmmm...) and frozen yogurt/shaved ice (there was a SUPER lovey dovey couple next to them. It was funny) and walked around. They would've gone to the aquarium but Angela started feeling dizzy so they decided not to. Maybe she was too tired? 


After the mall, they went to Seoul tower. They took the subway then the bus up the mountain. The bus ride was.....すごかったんだって. The driver was going pretty fast on the windy narrow mountain road, and both Min and Angie were standing but it was preeeeetty rocky. Angie could feel herself jumping up and down from the bumpy-ness! She said it was slightly scary, but mostly fun. :)


When they got to the tower, they went to the outside part, where the fences are filled with padlocks. Apparently, couples go there and their relationships are supposed to go well? Something like that? Locks? 


Well, there were a lot of locks on that fence. A lot. 


Then they went to the Teddy Bear Museum! It's this place where they show Korea's history with teddy bears. As in, it's full of my friends! :D They actually found a mini-me in all of the exhibits. I was being silly hehehehe :P 


After the museums (there were two of them) they climbed the Seoul tower. Angela said the elevator was really fast and she didn't feel like it was moving at all! すごいねー So it didn't bother Min either, who doesn't really like elevators much cuz they feel funny. and the view was so prettyyyy~ They got to see the night view, with the city lights and everything. Pretttyyyyyyy and romantic too? heart heart? :P


After the tower, they went back to guesthouse and went to sleep. 


It was a looooong day for them :)

久しぶり〜 / Day 1!

本当に久しぶりだね！


Sorry I was away for a while, I was having too much fun with Min and Angela :P


Angela met up with Min in Korea on September 9th, then they flew back to Japan on the 14th and Min went back to San Diego today. 


Yep, Angela is very sad that Min left. It makes her teary to look into the room he stayed in with the now very clean and empty bed. The pillow doesn't smell like him either, I guess a week wasn't enough for his scent to sink in. (Maybe you should send her one of your undershirts after you wear it for a day Min. In a Ziploc bag. ;P )


But yes, I think they had a lot of fun together. First in Korea, then in Japan. 


So I decided to talk about what happened each of the day they spent together here! One day per post :) I will try to write every day too!! :D I hope I still remember them all.....

I will start with the day Angela flew to Korea. 


Angela flew to Korea on Friday, September 9th. She woke up fairly early in the morning to take the shuttle to the airport. She slept the whole ride as expected, then she pretty much slept the whole time on the plane too. It was slightly too cold for her though, then she realized that she forgot to bring a sweater. Oh silly Angela. 


Then she got to the airport and she couldn't find her luggage at the baggage pick-up place! Well....it was because her suitcase was placed on the belt upside down and she didn't recognize it but.......yes.....


So she was one of the last ones to come out :P


And then she got nervous before going out to the arrival area. The thought of finally seeing her sweetie after about two months kinda overwhelmed her I guess. She took a deep breath, walked out, and found her sweetie in a bright red shirt waiting for her. They immediately found each other and although Angie couldn't jump into Min's arms because she had luggage, it was something close to it :)


Thenn they took the train to Seoul and to their guesthouse and put down Angie's luggage. They stayed in the room for a little, then they went out to look for dinner. They walked around randomly and when they realized it, they were in Myeong Dong. It was very busy and there were a lot of people, lots of shops and such. Angie got to buy nail polish and Starbucks mugs for おみやげ, and after much wandering around, they decided on a restaurant and ate dinner. Angie liked it a lot! It was......I'm not exactly sure what it's called but they kinda stir-fried chicken and veggies with a spicy sauce in a big pan at the table right in front of them. It was kind of spicy, but she really liked it :)


Angie does like Korean food a lot. 


Thenn they made their way back to the guesthouse and rested. :)

Going to the Airport

Today, Min is...

okay so Min had to leave for the airport and couldn't finish writing this...

and now he's too tired from his all day running around on airplanes and airports to write....so he'll write when he wakes up tomorrow!

Honestly, Angela didn't think she would be able to go. She's never been allowed to do anything close to it. 

I guess her mother thinks she's somewhat getting old enough? 

She is 20 already I suppose. 

She keeps saying she feels old and that time is passing by super fast. 

But that means she will be able to see her sweetie faster? :D 

Anyways, she still doesn't quite feel like she is going to Korea in a few days, it hasn't hit her yet. 

But she wants to do lots and lots there! With her lovely lovely sweetie :)

Lucky Angela. I wonder if I will get to go? 

Hmm so this blog is starting to be part of her "most visited site" list and it is showing up on the page when she opens a new tab.

Happy Three Monthssss.......or it's a little too late...

So Angela wanted me to write something for their three months, but we were kinda busy and missed the timing so she decided to just write a love letter to go with his present

Sorry everyone! 


Today was very sunny in Japan and Angela got to use her 日傘 a lot. But she forgot to put on sun screen sooooo she may have gotten tan anyways. Silly Angela, she should wake up earlier too. 


But she is so not a morning person! She just cant seem to wake up until the last last minute. At least her sweetie isn't a morning person either? :) weeeeeee~


Angie is listening to Min's song right now because Min's newest release, "Insomnia" is stuck in her head at the moment. She loves it when they get stuck in her head, it means her sweetie is constantly singing to her in her head :D


She really does love them. All of them! :)

Do you know about Min and Angela's matching duffel bag? I mean, their "matching eloping duffel bag"? 


Well...

Apparently, they are pretty popular in Japan at the moment. 


Angela's been noticing them since her first days in Japan. She sees a lot of high school students using it, the big one for sports. She sees more of the small ones being used for normal bags. 


And she was shopping the other day and guess what she saw! A wall full of the smaller bag in many many colors. 


なんか嬉しかったんだって


She's also happy when she sees a cooper running 


Angie is thinking that she is going to try and snap pictures of people actually using it. Although I'm not sure thats a good idea...


oh well she's silly :P
